Journal Prompts
Creative / Visual Art Prompt
- Write a letter to a restful animal or quiet piece of nature. Introduce yourself and ask it 3 questions that you’d love to know more about.
- Draw, paint, or sketch the parts of nature you're connecting with today. Title the art piece with emotive words. (Happy Clouds Dance or Sharp Twigs Scratching Me - Ouch!)
- Take photos of the part of nature you're resting with. Share them on your social media with #naturecentereddesign and tag us! @ arborrevolutions
Nature examples
- Find similarities to yourself in nature. Are you a mother, a child, a sibling? Explore that familial relationship in nature around you. What's your favorite color...and where does that exist in nature? Where's a place you'd love to travel to, but never been? What can you explore from afar about that place online or through books?
